Statistics reveal that one in five people experience a mental health condition each year. (Source: NAMI – National Alliance on Mental Illness)
It is essential to be educated on mental health to reduce stigma and realize that a mental health diagnosis does not prevent us from living full, productive, joy-filled lives.
Join us in taking action!
Mental Health Connect of Missouri has a strong desire to bring glory to God through our work. We need your prayers for wisdom and strength as we move forward in serving. We invite you to join our prayer team. Prayer team members will receive regular emails (weekly or monthly) with specific prayer requests. Contact Mental Health Connect for additional information about joining our team.
As our ministry grows we will need more volunteers who share our passion for promoting the relationship between mental health and faith. Volunteer activities may include assisting with educational events, mailings, data entry, or exhibits.
Reviewing books and resources
A future goal for Mental Health Connect is to create a library of resources on mental health. One of the library resources will be a listing of books with content reviews and recommendations. If you are interested in assisting with this project, please contact Mental Health Connect.
