Caroline S. Cooper is a certified peer specialist (CPS-MO) trained to provide support for other mental health consumers-individuals with a mental health diagnosis. She has a Masters in Theology from Calvary Theological Seminary in Kansas City, Missouri. Caroline is also an experienced speaker and has given presentations at the Missouri Department of Mental Health Spring Training Institute; Real Voices, Real Choices peer led conference; and Kansas City Mental Health conference. She is also award-winning author. She and her husband, Harry, have four children and two grandchildren. They reside in Lee’s Summit, Missouri.
Jane H. Alexander
Jane Alexander has participated in mental health support activities for many years. Jane serves as the coordinator of In God’s Corner Ministry’s Mental Health: A Closer Look educational program. She previously worked as a radiology tech for twenty years. Jane and her husband, Barry, live in Raymore, Missouri. They have two children.
Darin Challacombe has a Ph.D in psychology. He is proficient in designing and teaching psychology courses using technology, multimedia, and advanced educational techniques. Leveraged expertise in coauthoring three textbooks published and currently in use for FHSU psychology courses. Darin is an adjunct professor of psychology. He currently works as a manager for training and development at a data technology firm. Darin previously served as the board president for the Kansas City Center for Inclusion. He currently volunteers in multiple roles at his church.
Evelyn Givens retired in 1918 from her career as in the social work field. She served as a counselor, case manager, and program director. In her most recent position, Evelyn was responsible for overall management of Head Start programs. Her administrative responsibilities included development and monitoring of budgets, implementation of human resources policies and procedures, and general program management.
Harry Cooper is an experienced software engineer with a Masters in IT. He has a strong software development background and extensive background in application design and development using a variety of languages. Harry can design and implement processes to efficiently manage problem resolution and client communication.
Terri Cooley Bennett is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (MO), a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker (KS), and a Co-occurring Disorders Professional-Diplomate (MO). She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Missouri Western State University and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Kansas. Terri is experienced in homelessness, mental illness, substance abuse, and trauma. She is the Outreach Supervisor for the homeless program at Swope Behavioral Health and has served on many nonprofit boards. She and her husband, Neal, live in Blue Springs, Missouri. They have two children and five grandchildren.
