Caroline S. Cooper, MS, CPS
Caroline S. Cooper is a certified peer specialist (CPS-MO) trained to provide support for other mental health consumers-individuals with a mental health diagnosis. She has a Masters in Theology from Calvary Theological Seminary in Kansas City, Missouri. Caroline is also an experienced speaker and has given presentations at the Missouri Department of Mental Health Spring Training Institute; Real Voices, Real Choices peer led conference; and Kansas City Mental Health conference. She is an author and received the Author of the Year award in 2017 from Heart of American Christian Writers Network (HACWN) . She and her husband, Harry, have four children and three grandchildren. Jane H. Alexander
Jane Alexander persevered through a mental breakdown to become a healthy and product person filled with compassion and empathy. She has participated in mental health support activities for many years. As mental health coordinator, Jane works with the education and support areas of the nonprofit. She previously worked as a radiology tech for twenty years. Jane and her husband, Barry, live in Raymore, Missouri. Jane has two children.
Evelyn Givens, MSW, LMSW
Evelyn Givens retired in 2018 from her career as in the social work field. She served as a counselor, case manager, and program director. In her most recent position, Evelyn was responsible for overall management of Head Start programs. Her administrative responsibilities included development and monitoring of budgets, implementation of human resources policies and procedures, and general program management.
Harry M. Cooper, MS
Harry Cooper is an experienced software engineer with a Masters in IT and assists with information technology needs for the nonprofit. He brings his own experience with mental health and wellness as a close family member trying to cope with the concerns of caring for and encouraging someone with a mental illness. Terri Cooley Bennett, LCSW, LSCSW
,Terri Cooley Bennett is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (MO), a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker (KS), and a Co-occurring Disorders Professional-Diplomate (MO). She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Missouri Western State University and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Kansas. Terri’s career experience includes homelessness, mental illness, substance abuse, and trauma. She is the Outreach Supervisor for the homeless program at Swope Behavioral Health and has served on many nonprofit boards. She and her husband, Neal, live in Blue Springs, Missouri.
